About Safe Sex 808

Safe Sex 808 is a Hawaiʻi-based campaign initiated by the Department of Health in collaboration with the Division of Family Planning and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at the John A. Burns School of Medicine1 under the University of Hawaiʻi at Mа̄noa. The campaign’s goal is to reduce sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unintended pregnancies in adolescents and young adults through providing education and resources to enable them to have safe, consensual sex.
